MEET THE TEACHER

I've been an educator for 15 years, and the most rewarding of those began when I earned my Montessori certification 10 years ago.  As a mother of three, I've learned how to apply those Montessori principals to real-world home life.

When quarantine and home-schooling hit in 2020, I saw my own children thrive in our more flexible and intimate educational environment.   One Sweet World grew out of this experience, and I knew I had found my niche as a Montessorian  - creating a small, homelike program that puts kids and their curiosity at the center of the curriculum. 

I see the independence, creativity, and confidence that each child naturally brings to gaining new skill.  I am a strong believer that when those traits are nurtured and paired with a rich educational environment, children joyfully teach themselves to read, write, count, add, and even more.  

It has been a dream come true to create that environment here in my home and to be able to support other families in their goals of creating prepared, happy, and balanced learners - for kindergarten and beyond.​
